Registering A Guest Directly To A Group

There are four ways a guest could get registered directly to a group.

Admin Site in Ministry Sync

Ministry Sync users can register a guest to any existing group.

  1. In the Viewing Options column, select the group you would like to add a guest to. This will bring up a view of the group.



  2. Click on the Add a Person link located in the lower right corner of the group.







  3. Fill out and submit the registration form.

Public Registration

You can have a drop-down menu on your registration form that lists all the Groups (or Group Hosts) that are currently in the system for this event. The person registering can select a group from this list and will automatically be placed with that group.

  • On the registration form, a guest can select the group he/she wants to be added to from the drop-down menu.






Note: This drop-down menu is an optional field on the registration form.

Host Manager

A Group Host can add a guest to his group through the Table Host Manager.
  1. The Host should open their Table Host Instructions email they were sent when they registered.
  2. Click on the Manage My Table button found in the email. This will take the hosts to their Table Host Manager page.















  3. In their Table Host Manager, click on the Add a Person link in the lower right corner of their group list and fill out the registration form for their guests.



























    How to Resend a Table Host Information Email

Electronic Invitation

If a guest responds to an electronic invitation sent to him by a Group Host, the guest will automatically be placed in that Host’s Group. If the invitation was sent from a Ministry Sync User the guest will be placed in Unassigned Members.
  1. Open the invitation email.
  2. Click on the Accept button, and fill out the registration form.














Note: The invitations follow the person who sent them. Even if the Group Host is moved or demoted and promoted again, a registration coming from his or her invite will be placed with the Host’s current Group.
