Creating Nametags Quick Tips

We have discovered that while creating labels in Ministry Sync, the following two problems can commonly occur. They are quite simple to fix.

#1: When you click Preview or Create Labels, nothing happens.


If you click Preview or Create Labels, and nothing happens, this is because your internet browser has a pop-up blocker on. Make sure you disable all pop-up blockers for the website ministrysync.com.

All internet browsers are different, but you can search for the pop-up blocker option in one of the menus. For example, in Firefox, it is found in the Tools Menu, Options, and the Content tab.

In Safari, the pop-up blocker option is contained right on the Safari Menu.


#2: When you print your labels, the entire label page seems smaller than it should be.


When you go to print your labels, often Adobe Reader is set to Shrink to Printable Area. This setting needs to be changed to None because the .pdf that Ministry Sync generates is the exact size of the paper.

To change this setting, click the File Menu, and then click the Print... option. In the Print dialog box, find the Page Scaling setting. Click the dropdown, and choose None.
