Deleting A Group

There are a few reasons why you might delete a group:

  • The group is empty.
  • You’re merging two groups together (one will be deleted, one will remain).
  • A host is no longer hosting so you want to delete his/her group.

Deleting a Group that is Empty

  1. Under Groups, click on the group you would like to delete.
  2. Click on the recycling can icon to the right of the title for the group you wish to delete.
  3. A notice will appear and ask if you are sure you want to delete this group. Click OK.








Deleting a Group that is not Empty

When you try to delete a group that is not empty, you will be prompted to select where you want this group’s registrants to be moved to. You can move its registrants to another existing group or to “Unassigned Members”.
  1. Check the group you want to delete, and check the group you will be moving the guest to (or check "Unassigned Members") in the Groups column. Both groups will appear on your screen.






  2. Click on the recycling can icon to the right of the title for the group you’d like to delete. A notice will appear and ask if you are sure you want to delete this group.









  3. Click OK. A notice will appear and instruct you to select a group which you would like to move these guests to.
  4. Click OK. The guests in the group to be deleted are now check-marked.
  5. Click on the title of the group you would like to move the guests to. When you do this the old group will be deleted and the guests will be moved to the new group.













Note: Notice we moved Host Ben Zimmerman out of his group into Sally Johnson’s group. Ben still remains a Host. Ben and Sally are now both Hosts of Sally’s group. If you no longer want Sally to be a Host, you can demote her.
