    How To Add A Graphic To Your Nametags

    Our new label feature makes it simple for you to include your event's graphic on your nametags.

    To add a graphic to your nametag template:

    1. In the Registration Manager, click Labels.

    2. In the Select a label: dropdown, choose your label code number.

      (If your particular label number is not in the list, click the Don't see your Avery number? link.)

    3. Click on a label template that contains a graphic, then click Customize Selected Label.

      (If the template you selected is one of our Default Templates, you will be prompted to create a copy of the template before continuing on to the next step.)

      The Label Skeleton will be displayed:


    4. Locate the Image item in the Object Type column. Click the Edit this Object icon for this image.

      The editing tools available for the graphic will be displayed:

    5. Click the Browse... button to locate and upload your image.

    6. (If necessary, click the Edit this Object icon again in order to see the editing tools.) To change the size of the graphic, click and drag the Image Width indicator.

      Sliding the indicator all the way to the right will make the graphic as large as possible. (The graphic's size is determined by its resolution plus the label dimensions.)

    7. To change the position of the graphic (in our default templates the graphic is usually located in the upper left-hand corner of the label), click the [ Show Positioning ] link.

      Move the sliders to move the graphic left/right and up/down.

    8. At any time while you are modifying the size and position, you can click the Preview button to view a two-page preview of your labels.

    9. When you have completed your changes, click the Finished Customizing Label button at the bottom of the Label Skeleton.

    10. You will be back at the main template area where you can click Create Labels to generate a .pdf file of your labels.


    Notes
    • The thumbnail image representing your label will remain the same as the original label; it will not automatically update to reflect any formatting changes that you have made. If you have an easy way to take a screenshot of your new label image, you can hover your mouse over the image while you are in the Label Skeleton, and click Upload a new Image Preview.


    • It is always a good idea to print out one or two sample label pages and match them up to your actual label paper.
