As you customize your nametag templates, you will notice that each object in the
Label Skeleton is numbered along the left side, in the
Order column.

Imagine that each object is placed onto the nametag in order, from last to first. Item 1 in the
Order column is
ON TOP of all of the other objects on the nametag.
It's
easy to change the order of objects. Below the steps are some examples
that illustrate when you might want to change the order on your labels.
To change the order of objects on your label:
- Position your mouse over the line item that you want to move.
- When your cursor turns into a hand, click on a line number (an object).
- Drag
the line up or down, and drop it into its new location.
- The items will be automatically renumbered.
- Preview your labels to ensure that the object ordering is correct.
The best example to illustrate the order of objects is a
Box object. Usually, this type of object is last in the order.

In the example shown here, notice that the event title, which is a
Text object, is displayed
ON TOP of the
Box object. So in the numbered list of objects, the
Text object appears before the
Box object.
If the
Box object appeared higher up on the list before the event title, the shaded box would be layered
ON TOP of the event title, and the event title would be hidden.
The same is true for the logo, or the
Image object. It too is higher on the list than the
Box object, as it is also displayed
ON TOP of the
Box object.

Notice the
Box object on this label. The
Box object is the entire height of the label. In this case, the
Box object
must be the last object in the list, or it will cover up some or all of the other objects.
